Esther Remmington was born in England in April 1980 and like many artists, she began drawing at an early age. Her passion for fantasy began at childhood with a love for fairytales, and continued to develop when she later discovered the work of great fantasy masters such as Boris Valejo, Julie Bell, Brian Froud and Amy Brown.

She was successful at art during school and went on to study Graphic Design at college, achieving a National Diploma qualification. she continued to develop as an artist. She took on a variety of art and design commissions in her spare time, as well as personal creative projects.

Fantasy and faery art remained a strong interest and after creating some fantasy watercolour paintings, including 'faery portraits' of friends, she decided to show case her work online. She designed and created this website in June 2006 and endeavors to regularly add more artwork and develop it further.

Esther is currently working from her home studio in south-east England, where she lives with her partner, Martin. As well as painting, Esther enjoys many other creative hobbies including jewellery making, scrapbook making, nature photography and creating fancy dress costumes.
